Will I have the same cleaner each time?

To better serve you, we will do our best to provide you with the same team member each time.

Do I need to provide the cleaning products and vacuum?

Most clients do prefer that we bill them for the cleaning products we purchased for them.

We can provide our own cleaning material and vacuum for an additional fee.

How are payments made?

Cash is preferable to avoid credit card fees, however, we do accept credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay as well as cash. No personal checks, please. An additional 8% fee may apply for payments other than cash.

Can we trust the cleaners?

Certainly. Currently, we operate as a small local business, and all the work is personally handled by our dedicated and reliable team.

Are you insured?

Yes. Leafy Clean is fully insured.

What if I want to cancel my cleaning arrangement?

We require one week's notice the first month and one month’s notice thereafter.

What if I need to reschedule my cleaning date/time?

Please notify us 48 hours in advance. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs.

Can I have a cleaner on the weekends?

Saturday cleaning is subject to availability . We are unavailable Sundays.

Is the Cleaner flexible about tasks to be done?

Yes. The cleaner can do any reasonable cleaning related task. All requests must be made prior to receiving your estimate. Requests made afterwards are subject to additional fees. Our cleaners cannot use a step ladder, hand wash unusual or fragile items or lift heavy objects. We are not able to do any work outside your premises such as cleaning external windows, gardens or patios.

What do I need to do before my cleaner comes?

To provide you with optimal service, we appreciate a reasonably organized space with toys, items, and clothes off the floor before your scheduled cleaning day.

Please ensure the kitchen sink area is clear of dishes. Failure to meet these guidelines may incur additional fees. T

Do you offer organization services?

We do offer light organization for an additional fee.

Do you iron?

We are not offering ironing services at this time.

Do I have to be home at the time of cleaning?

Every client is unique. Being present during cleaning is time preferable but it is not required.

Should I tip the housekeeper?

Tips are always appreciated, especially during additional or unusual tasks and when working for longer than usual hours.

A holiday tip of one week's pay is often suggested by etiquette experts.

What if something is broken or damaged during the cleaning?

We request that you notify us in advance of any fragile items we should take extra care around. We may choose to avoid those delicate areas. We are not responsible for any such items that are not highlighted during our appraisal or subsequent visits.

In the unlikely event that something not excluded above should become damaged or broken, we will notify you before we leave and consult about what is the best way to repair or replace the item. Insurance claims can be filed if appropriate. We do treat your home with care to ensure that accidents are avoided.

Can I skip the first cleaning fee?

Please note that our estimates are not negotiable and that the first and second cleanings are necessary to bring your location up to our standards for regular cleanings and thus are required to receive our service.
